Canadian Cooking: Poutine & Butter Tarts
Canadian Cooking: Poutine & Butter Tarts
Join us this winter we (figuratively) head up north to cook two classic dishes from Canada, eh! No Canadian tuxedo required, we’ll whip up a loaded poutine from scratch- from gravy to perfectly crispy oven fries. To finish, we’ll bake off mini butter tarts; probably one of the most satisfying desserts out there, from a flaky crust, to a chewy/gooey butterscotch-like middle, it’s no wonder the butter tart is the most popular dessert in Canada!
What’s on the menu?
Loaded Poutine Fries: Gravy, Cheese Curds, and optional bacon
Roasted brussels sprouts
Butter Tarts
