Bagels 101 (Self-Guided)
Join us as we tackle a challenging, yet rewarding baking project: the perfect bagel. While we may not be able to travel to New York to find it, we can certainly learn the fundamentals of bagel baking. We’ll shape, boil, top and bake chewy, flavorful bagels and finish class with a smoked salmon or chive cream cheese!
Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Since bagels need time to rise before shaping, this class will take place over 24 hours. One 30-45 minute session of making the dough, 1 hour rise, 30 minutes of shaping, 12 hours second proofing, and finally: boiling, topping, baking and cream cheese spreads! We will provide written and video instructions for everything!
