Take a break with Alice and Erica, spending some quality time enjoying a family meal during the hustle and bustle of the holidays… prepared this time by the youngest ones in the family! We will learn how to put on a complete holiday meal from start to finish- food prep, cooking, table setting, and presentation. Chef Alice and Erica will work with young cooks to prepare a 4-course feast of braised leek and ricotta crostinis, swiss chard gratin, braised pork shoulder ragu, and an olive oil cake with a lingonberry or cranberry compote. Parents and siblings are invited to come at 3pm with their appetites! All ingredients are locally sourced by the 21 Acres Center.
Class prices include a meal. Accommodations for dietary restrictions upon request.
Difficulty Level: 1-2 fork; some previous cooking experience at home or in a 21 Acres cooking class recommended.
